Secondary Program Coordinator Training - In Person (Columbus, Ohio)

Registration is open for the in-person SourcesOH Secondary Program Coordinator training on October 24 from 9:00-5:00 pm in Columbus, Ohio. This even will be held at Marriott Columbus OSU, 3100 Olentangy River Rd. , Columbus, OH 43202.  There is no cost to register and mileage will be reimbursed. (See more information here.)
This training is designed for adults who are or will be coordinating a Sources of Strength Secondary Program (grades 7-12) at their school. This training differs from the Adult Advisor Training in that it takes a deeper dive into the operational aspects of Sources. 
The training will help participants understand: 
  • The Sources of Strength Mission and Philosophy.
  • How to support operational aspects of Sources programming, like recruiting Adult Advisors and Peer Leaders and coordinating training logistics. 
  • How to support Adult Advisors and Peer Leaders with campaign planning. 
  • Options to expand the size, reach, and impact of the program.
  • Program fidelity, evaluation, and multi-year program implementation strategies. 
CHES CEUs will be available and an application for social work, counseling, chemical dependency, and prevention CEUs will be submitted.
